Tracie was born in Lancaster and grew up in Rock Hill at the Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church.
She received her BA in history from Davidson and her Masters of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in Virginia.

She is married to Brian and they have two children Brian (14)  and William (11);
Awest highland terrier named "Knox" and a cat named "Flora McDonald."
She is a big UNC basketball fan.
Tracie had open heart surgery in 2003.

1995-2000- Co-Pastor at Westminster Presbyterian (NCD) in Jackson, TN
2002-2006- Parish Associate for Christian Education , First Presbyterian, Statesville, NC
2007-2009- Parish Associate for Christian Education, Centre Presbyterian, Mooresville, NC
2009- 2012- Director of Christian Education, Tyger River Presbyterian, Moore, SC

She was a minister commissioner to the 2000 General Assembly and has served on a special committee of General Assembly.
She has served on the board for Presbyterians for Renewal.

She has authored several publications including various reports to General Assembly;
Bible Studies by the Network of Presbyterian Women in Leadership:
    "Abba: The Incredible Love of the Father."
    "Icthus: The All-Encompassing Lordship of Jesus Christ"
    "Windworks: The Active Work of the Holy Spirit"
    "The Feminist Vision of Christ: Between Longing and Hope"
