Our Ministry staff consists of:
Rev. Dr. J. Ben Sloan is our Senior Pastor.  Dr. Sloan is originally from Columbia, has degrees from Clemson, Union Seminary VA and his doctorate from Columbia Seminary in Atlanta.  He is married to Kay and has three children Sarah Batson (at USC law school), Rebekah (at PC), and John (a senior at Chapin High).  Dr. Sloan preaches at least 3 Sundays a month, teaches a class and Bible study, visits and resources the Administration, Personnel, Finance, Fellowship, Long Range Planning,  Nominating, Capital Campaign, Columbarium Committees and moderates the session.

Dr. C. Pat Griffin joins our staff as Parish Associate for Member Visitation. Pat was Parish Associate at Westminster Presbyterian for 11 years before working on his doctorate.  He has been in mental health chaplaincy for many years.   Pat can be reached at Pgriffin002@sc.rr.com or ext 117.

Rev. Bo Stalcup is our Parish Associate for evangelism and education.  Bo is married to Sandy and has two grown children, Eric and Vicky.  Bo has degrees from Memphis State and Columbia Seminary.  He has served churches in Mexico, Texas and recently from Myrtle Beach. He works Sunday-Tuesday and his job consists of assisting with visitation, evangelism, worship, Merry Presbyterians and adult education.  Bo can be reached at Bos@lmpchurch.org or ext. 119.

David came to us from MoRanch Conference Center, and also previously worked at Ferncliff Camp and was a youth director.  But David grew up in Arkansas and attended the University of Arkansas. 

Jane Jermac is our Preschool Director and Children's Ministry Director.  Jane is married to Ken and has two grown children, Sara and John.  Jane is also a deacon and resources the Christian Education and Preschool committees as well as oversees the nursery, children's church, VBS, church retreat and even opens up the church.  Jane can be reached at Janej@lmpchurch.org or 345-1152.

Mandy McCathern is our Recreation Director.  Mandy is married to Andy and has three children: Drew, Chase, and Blake. Mandy can be reached at mandym@lmpchurch.org.

Ken Jermac is our Property Supervisor.  Ken is married to Jane (see above).  Ken is also Property Supervisor to Spring Valley Baptist. 

Laura Mars is our Business Administrator.  Laura is married to Troy and has two children, Bennett and Zander.  Laura works 8:00- 2:30 M-F. Laura may be reached at lauram@lmpchurch.org or ext. 118.

Sherri Lindler is our Church Secretary.  Sherri is married to Wayne and has a son named Caleb.  Her office hours are 8:00-4:30 M-F. Sherri may be reached at secretary@lmpchurch.org or call 345-5140 ext 115.

Jeff Hadwin of Clean Castle is our contractor for cleaning.  They work six days a week (2 hours on Sunday).  Mr. and Mrs. Ringer have been our assigned janitors.

Sara Beardsley is our Organist.  Sara works at USC and is married to Ed.
