This has changed from a trip information page to a blog on our trip- when I have internet (which isn't too often I'm told).
This is the 2,000th birthday for St. Paul.

Fourteen of us went: Kay & Ben Sloan, John & Mary LaFond, Bill & Cynthia Morrow, Dan & Charlene Morgan, Dwayne & Kathleen Taylor, Lois Cathcart, Glenna Rowland, Ginny Leitner, and Sadie Richards.

We had a great trip.  We are all home.  Our flight was a little bumpy (dodging an old hurricane and a tornado watch in Columbia as we landed).  We barely made our flight from Chicago to Columbia (they held the plane for us). We saw about twelve places where Paul must have stood- including- the old Roman jail in Philippi; the judgment seat (bema) in Philippi and also in Corinth before which Paul stood and was judged; the river where Lydia was baptized as the first European convert.  Roman marketplaces in Thesslonica, Corinth, Philippi.  The lecture hall in Ephesus where Paul spoke.
Thanks for everyone who is praying for us!
