Presbyterian Women
Women are a lively and essential part of life at Lake Murray Presbyterian Church. The Presbyterian Church (USA) believes God brought faithful women to serve both in the world and in the church. Lake Murray Presbyterian Women find various ways to connect to other women. LMPC Women offer three different “circles” that meet monthly. Each circle is a great place for Fellowship and Bible study. Each circle’s goal is to enlist every woman for Christ, to provide personal and group fellowship, and to pray and study the Bible together. You are welcome to join at anytime! The newsletter and bulletin have circle dates and information about Presbyterian Women (PW) events.
Faith Circle… 2nd Tuesday of the Month at 6:30 pm Fellowship Hall.
Joy Circle… 2nd Monday of the Month at 11:00 AM – Room 103
Trinity Lunch Circle…2nd Wednesday of the Month at 10:00 AM – Room 103. After bible study the group gathers for lunch at a local restaurant.
In addition to circles, there are other women’s groups that meet:
Ladies Night Out
Knit Wits – every Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall – any level of knitter is welcome.
The women have annual gatherings at Christmas and in the Spring.
LMPC PW have two big fund-raisers. A Rummage Sale is held each Spring, and a Soup, Casseroles, pecans, etc. every fall.
