You are always invited to worship with us!  At Lake Murray you will find a place to belong. Your faith will be nurtured and all are welcomed and loved. The sanctuary of Lake Murray Presbyterian is a sacred and holy place built to feel God’s presence and provide space for a meaningful worship experience. We have traditional Presbyterian services, acknowledging and responding to the glory and power of God present in the world and our lives. Worship contains prayer, music, scripture, preaching, sacraments, offering and sharing of community joys and concerns. Children are encouraged to be a part of worship. As you enter the sanctuary, worship bags are available, containing activities for children to complete in the pews. During the service, we have a Children’s Sermon, followed by Children’s Church. A nursery is available in Room 204 of the Fellowship Hall Building. At each worship service, ushers will provide you a bulletin outlining the worship service. An usher can provide you with assisted listening devices and large print hymnals. We invite you for breakfast in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30 am. We would love to meet you!

Sunday Morning Worship
8:30 am ~ SunUp Service in the sanctuary is a less liturgical 45 minute service. The Announcements will be at 8:20 am, followed by the Opening Singing. We may sing a hymn from your childhood! The Call to Worship follows the Open Singing. 9:00 am ~ Fellowship Breakfast in the Fellowship Hall 9:30 am ~ Sunday School 10:30 am ~ Worship Service in the sanctuary. This service is enhanced with music from our Adult Choir. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated at both services the first Sunday of each month.
Adult Choirs Our Lake Murray Presbyterian adult choir has a notable presence at our 10:30 am worship service. Their anthems bring us closer to God and connect us to the Holy Spirit in each worship experience. The choir is under the direction of Dr. Janet Roberts. Our organist is Ken Anderson. Each December, we anticipate “Lessons and Carols” from our talented music ministry. Join this enthusiastic group of sopranos, altos, tenors and basses to experience God’s presence through music and song. During the school year, the choir rehearses on Wednesday at 7:00 pm, in the choir room of the Gym Building. On Sunday at 9:30 am, they rehearse in the sanctuary. After Memorial Day and through their retreat, Wednesday night rehearsals are suspended, leaving only the Sunday morning rehearsals. The choir socializes several times throughout the year. Their yearly retreat is in August to plan and rehearse the coming year’s music. Our Adult Handbell Choir plays at worship services throughout the year. Novices, experienced ringers and anyone in between are welcome. For information, contact Dr. Roberts at
